Help accessing a course

If you have registered and paid for a course, and are having trouble finding or logging into it, follow these tips.

Find your course page

In the orange bar at the top of this site, click “Login/My Account”. Once logged in, click “My Courses” (also in the orange bar) to see available sessions. In most courses, each session will appear a week ahead of its meeting date.

Login Issues

Your login was emailed to you shortly after you purchased the course (check your spam filter if it is not in your inbox). Click “Login/My Account” in the top orange bar and then login. If you want to change your password, first login using the provided username & password, and then click on “Login/My Account” and you will see a prompt where you can change your password.

I need to register for a course

Click on the “Courses” menu tab and then choose “available courses” from the drop-down to see available and upcoming course information.

How do Flourish courses work?  Are there assignments and grades?

Flourish courses are non-credit courses designed to provide insight and growth around a particular issue. There may be suggested readings and/or a project, but as an adult learner you decide where how much you want to invest in the course. There are no tests or grading in Flourish courses. Enjoy the experience of learning!

Do I have to do the live  Zoom meetings?

Most Flourish courses include pre-recorded lectures and slideshows, the weekly live Zoom meetings are where participants can dialogue around that session’s content and discuss particulars and questions with the instructor(s). These are voluntary, but encouraged, since we believe learnng happens best within community.

How do I get the Zoom app and does it cost anything?

Download the “Zoom Client for Meetings” for your device (Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android). It is free to download and use. This free version is perfect for use with Florish courses (Flourish leaders have pro accounts, and those provide the longer time frames and additional features needed).

Can I start a course after it has begun?

Sure! You will have acess to all session content for the already-published sessions, but will only be able to attend the live sessions for upcoming sessions. There is no discount offered for entering a course after it has begun.
